As a respectable writer in his career, Robert Lopez Flynn had received many honorable mentions for his published works from companies as reputable as The New York Times. He won several awards and was an active member of many organizations. Mr. Flynn’s other titles include “In the House of the Lord,” “Sounds of Rescue, Signs of Hope,” “Wanderer Springs,” “The Last Klick,” “Seasonal Rain,” “Living with the Hyenas,” “Tie-Fast Country”, “Echoes of Glory,” Lawful Abuse, “Jade: Outlaw,” “Jade: The Law,” and the spiritual memoir “Holy Literary License.”

Mr. Flynn served in active duty with the Marines from 1950 to 1952. He then attended Baylor University, where he secured a Bachelor of Arts in 1954 and a Master of Arts in 1956. Having accomplished much over the course of his career, Mr. Flynn feels incredibly gratified to have been able to travel the world and have visited all seven continents and 70 countries.

For over four decades, Flynn taught college students and served as a novelist. Early in his career from 1957 and 1959, he served as an associate with Gardner-Webb University which is in Boiling Springs, NC. He then went on to Baylor University, in Waco, TX from 1959 to 1963; where he then found his final career move for Trinity University in San Antonio between 1963 and 2001.

Now retired, Mr. Flynn is still active in his community and enjoys sharing his knowledge and passion for writing. He has influenced hundreds of students and peers through his works. In a 2007 interview, Mr. Flynn said “You can read any book on writing fiction for example, and they will tell you the same thing. Someone may say it in a different way that gives you better insight, but there are no secrets in writing; it’s just a matter of doing it.”
