World Wide of Distinguished Professionals Honors Arthur Mark, Ed.D.

honors the career accomplishments of Arthur Mark, Ed.D.
For more than 35 years, Arthur Mark, Ed.D., has been a professor emeritus of teacher education. He is a
licensed early childhood and elementary educator, in addition to his certification in speech and drama
for kindergarten through grade 12. After serving in the United States Amry, Dr. Mark began his college
journey focused on the performing arts, which was a passion of his from his childhood. After losing his
father, Dr. Mark enrolled in the University of Massachuttes at Boston, where he graduated in 1952 with
his Bachelor of Science in education.
After his retirement, Dr. Mark returned to the theater where he was elected a fellow of the Royal
Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA, Inc.) in 1989 because of the
founding of Business and Industry for the Arts in Education (BIFAE, Inc.) which helped teachers and
administrators to incorporate the arts into the school curriculum.
In recognition of his dedication and commitment, Arthur Mark, Ed.D. will also have his profile featured
in the publication World Wide of Distinguished Professionals (WWDP).
