A graduate of Olivet Nazarene University and the University of Tennessee, Ms. Watts has over five decades of experience in the field, Currently serving Vanderbilt Medical Center’s School of Nursing as a Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse and Breast Patient Navigator, Ms. Watts specializes in surgical oncology, wound care, general surgery, breast cancer care, and systems analysis and improvement. Ms. Watts has authored several works. Among them are Surgical Treatment of Obesity for the Journal of Southern Surgical Nurses Association (1985),Management of Problem Wounds, Journal of Urological Nursing (1989) and most recently, 2007’s Reducing Pressure Ulcer Prevalence in an ICU Setting for Journal of Wound Ostomy Continence Nurses Society.
