Anne Hardin Mason has been announced as one of Empire Radio Now’s Top 101 Professionals of 2017. Professionals selected for such an honor have been determined by factors such as lifetime and career accomplishments, prominence in their respective fields, and commitment to excellence.

In her career spanning more nearly four decades, Ms. Hardin Mason has been educating and expanding young minds. A graduate of the University of North Carolina, Ms. Mason began teaching at North School in Gastonia, North Carolina. The ensuring years would take her to Oakwood School, College Park Junior High School, Southwest Elementary School, and College Park Middle School. In addition to her duties as an educator, Ms. Hardin Mason also served her community as an active member of the Presbyterian Church; holding positions on the transportation, congregational care, and Christmas gift bag committees. She has also served as Docent for the City Hickory Museum, Harper House and Hickory Landmarks Society.
