Jane Leishner has been announced as one of Newsworthy’s Top 101 Outstanding Professionals of 2017.

Jane Leishner has been announced as one of Newsworthy’s Top 101 Outstanding Professionals of 2017. Professionals selected for such an honor have been determined by factors such as lifetime and career accomplishments, prominence in their respective fields, and commitment to excellence

While attending Midwestern University, Jane served as a part-time student assistant in the Dean of Students office and was inducted into two honor societies. After graduating, she followed her husband to his various military outposts,both domestic and abroad. When her husband retired from military service in 1985, Jane’s career began anew as she accepted a position in the Dean of Students department once more. Under the mentor-ship of Dean Grady, Ms. Leishner enrolled in a graduate program for human development counseling and continued her work in Student Services. In 1991, Jane took over the position of Director of the Student Center and led their multi-million dollar renovation project. Ms. Leishner would remain in that position until 2001 when she accepted the position of Associate Vice President for Student Affairs. Ms. Leishner retired in 2003.

Ms. Leishner has been previously honored by Strathmore Who’s Who for her outstanding work. Newsworthy congratulates Ms. Jane Leishner for her career accomplishments and honors her with a place among the Top 101 Outstanding Professionals of 2017.
